#LoveInTheCity was a success…Thanks to you! There’s good news…..and exclusive pics!!!

When I started this blog in 2016 October I  had no clue I’d be going on to Host my very own events. A year and 2 months later here we are, If I Start To Talk sold our first ever event with over 100+ guests. It was an amazing experience but so much more fulfilling hearing how much you guys enjoyed yourselves and would be willing to come again and again.

Love In The City was hosted in the heart of central London at Vapiano, in Great Portland Street. They provided us with a lovely and warm atmosphere, great food, service and hospitality. It was a pleasure working with them as a reputable restaurant that many of us love. They provided guests with pizza, pasta and 2 free drinks on the night.

Girls and guys arrived, looking absolutely  stunning! Many coming straight from work to network and maybe even find potential bae, and from the reviews I’ve heard people definitely did mingle and speak to potentials.

The night was hosted by Oga Samuel and Felicia Said What. They did a great job interacting with the crowd especially when it did get noisy at times, they handled themselves well even with the hiccups they encountered, so I’d like to say a big thank you to Samuel and Felicia.

The games were good, but the speed dating was a hit! With many people telling me a minute wasn’t enough to speak to people, or hearing that people refused to move seats after the bell had gone. People were that much into it. Everyone was pushed out of their comfort zone but that turned out to be the activity they loved the most and I’ve had so many requests for another Love In the City with longer speed dating!

I want to thank God and everyone who has been involved in this journey thus far, from those who encouraged me to go through with the event, those who reposted, retweeted or shared. And to those who bought tickets and came down on the night. I’d like to thank Sammy Shoots and his team and our official sponsors PAN!CAPP (which you all should go and download). This event wouldn’t have been possible without your support!

And on that note #LoveInTheCity will be coming back bigger and better!!! If you missed out there’s going to be an opportunity for you to join in on all the fun. If you were there at the first one and didn’t quite get a chance to speak to that special someone you had your eye on, or maybe you just loved the opportunity to meet more amazing people like your self, whatever the reason may be, you guys have asked and I have listened. I’m taking on board all your feedback, from conversations to surveys to ensure the next event, runs even more smoothly and meets up to your expectations. I ask that you all bare with me and stay tuned. The next event you don’t want to miss!
